‘The Big Bang Theory’ pays homage to ‘When Harry Met Sally’ | Melissa Rauch FTW
| January 3, 2014 at 10:50 PM ESTIn ‘The Big Bang Theory’ episode, “The Hesitation Ramification” we got a killer homage to one of the greatest movies ever: “When Harry Met Sally.” Whether you’re a guy or a gal, we can all appreciate this movie. And one thing about last night’s episode is clear: we all appreciated this moment. (Even if we’re torn about the proposal storyline.)

Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) gives her best Meg Ryan during the episode, while having a conversation about fake laughing for jokes.
Howard: Fake a laugh? Do you ever do that with me?
Bernadette: No, of course not.
Howard: Well, I’d be able to tell anyway.
Bernadette: I don’t think you would.
Howard: Please, I’ve made plenty of girls laugh, sometimes just by asking them out.
Bernadette: [Laughs forever and ever until it’s clearly fake and overdone.]
Howard: Yeah, well, I fake my orgasms.
What would have made that laughing scene with Bernadette more closely resemble the classic (and just plain better) is if a woman would have then said, “I’ll have what she’s having.”
Howard scored a hot girl who’s hilarious… he really is living the dream. In what other ways is Howard secretly lucky?
