Miley Cyrus broke the news on Twitter before NBC was able to do so. “It’s true! I am going to be the newest judge on Season 11 of The Voice,” the pop superstar tweeted on Friday.

NBC has since confirmed the news amid the show’s 10th season run.

“The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable,” Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative and late-night programming, said in a press statement. “We’re thrilled that they’ll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season.”

Alicia Keys has previously served as a mentor on The Voice and Miley Cyrus is set to appear as one during the spring cycle, currently airing.
