Massive movie star, Olivia Wilde, once worked on a TV show where she played an updated version of a famous literary character. You’d know her as – Juliet. Sort of, anyway.
On Fox’s Skin, Olivia Wilde played sixteen-year-old Jewel, who fell in love with Adam (D.J. Cotrona.) It was the oh-s0-typical story of a daughter of a porn king and the son of a district attorney.
But only three episodes of the show aired on 2003. This was despite plenty of advertising, sexy scenes, and the weight of executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer. This was his first TV series to be canceled.
Olivia Wilde has since been seen on the TV shows The O.C. and House M.D., as well as movies like “Cowboys & Aliens“, “Tron” and “In Time.” (Script writer Greg Yaitanes wrote for Wilde’s characters in Skin and for House M.D.)
D.J. Cotrona has since been on TV shows like Detroit 1-8-7 and Windfall. Movies he’s been in include “Dear John” and “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.”
