VS Models are Lost in a Plaid Wonderland

Mark your calendars and tivo schedules: the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs on CBS on Tuesday, December 1 at 10/9c. The show went down on November 19th, and with Heidi Klum as ‘just’ the host, Miranda Kerr was the star.

Victoria’s Secret made five more women into the coveted “Angel” spots. As I’m sure you could GUESS, only the very top girls get made into Angels. The new Angels are Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson and Candice Swanepoel.

The categories for the show were: Enchanted Forest, All Aboard, and Star Trooper.

“We came up with the idea of this girl who lands from outer space in Paris,” explained show stylist Charlotte Stockdale. “She gets on a train that comes to a halt in Pinkland, where pink girls get on and off. Then they go into this fairy-tale forest and little lady bugs and butterflies land on them and vines grow up on their clothes. Then, there’s Tick-Tock Time; the wings in this section are based on clocks—there’s one modeled after a pocket watch with metallic feathers. And she ends up in this regal realm of princess-ness, where the wings have Swarovski jewels and peacock feathers.” – Elle.com

Feeling inspired to shop Victoria’s Secret? Just remember that when you wear these bras there won’t be a fan on you to make your hair blow gently over your shoulders, or glitter on the runway to your bedroom. Some things are impractical! Keep the glitter on your body. Duh.
