NBC's new sitcom "Community"

NBC is debuting a new comedy this fall called “Community” and so far, it looks promising. It looks funnier than a lot of comedies out there and is certainly better than, say, NBC’s “The Office”-showalike “Parks and Recreation.” A video preview is below.

The show is about an ex-lawyer named Jeff (Joel McHale from E!’s “The Soup”) whose college degree has been invalidated, so he must return to a local community college. There, he befriends a motley crue of students and together they form a “Breakfast Club”-like study group. Casting includes Chevy Chase, “Daily Show” correspondent John Oliver, and Ken Jeong, most recently seen as Mr. Chow in “The Hangover.”
