I’m not really sure that after the half-naked photos by Annie Leibovitz in “Vanity Fair” Miley Cyrus really needs to be dancing on a pole at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on FOX. I mean, I know everybody has to grow up sometime but perhaps that is not the best call for the teen queen. Video after the jump.
I mean, I’ve danced on a pole before but that was at a faux-stripper class for a bachelorette party, not on a stage in front of millions of people when I was 16 years old (and illegal).

well im pretty sure the pole was there so she could hold on while they push her across the stage she went down once and thats when everybody snaps a pic all she did was get level with her audience..
and vanity fair thts a great magazine to be published in and in pretty sure only her back was showing thats nothing people show more than that when they are wearing dresses on the red carpet….. and no one says omg every girl on the red carpet tonight is becoming the next britney spears sooo yeaa your a retard

Whatever the reason, this was not well-thought out (neither was leaving a minor in the hands of Annie Leibovitz) and after the Britney train wreck, Miley’s parents -et all- really need to be far more careful with the way they transition her image from teen to sophisticated young adult.

the pole didn’t even move when she first did it.there was no slip involved.
