Victoria Beckham replacing Paula Abdul on ‘American Idol?’

Well, only for one episode. Victoria Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice of British group The Spice Girls, has signed on to guest judge on the FOX’s juggernaut television program “American Idol.” This comes on the heels of the announcement that Paula Abdul is no longer returning as a judge.

Beckham isn’t replacing Paula, however. According to Beckham’s publicists, she has signed on to film one episode. She’ll actually film this week and be paid a nice ~$300,000 for her time. Her husband David Beckham currently plays soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
