For those who haven’t yet seen The Vampire Diaries “The New Deal” episode, read on preparing to be spoiled about who left Mystic Falls.

Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) was compelled by Damon to decide to leave Mystic Falls and stay away. Fans want to know: is Jeremy coming back? Is Jeremy gone for good? Whyyyy? Well, the answer to the last question is because Elena wanted to keep Jeremy safe. And perhaps the show felt there wasn’t much more to do with Jeremy at the present time.

But because Jeremy wasn’t killed off, we are pretty sure Jeremy Gilbert will reappear on The Vampire Diaries at some point. But what do you think? Are you upset about this, or are you just glad it wasn’t someone else?
