tyra banksTyra Banks is such a “creative genius” that she isn’t satisfied with the words already in the dictionary. From watching her on America’s Next Top Model we already know she is a fan of her word “smize” (to smile with your eyes) but now that she’s penning a book, we’re out for a ton of more words. Such as… “Intoxibellas”.

At first I thought there was a root word in there about “botox” or “anorexia” but I think it’s just based off of “intoxicating”. No matter what the word is, it reminds me of a toxin that you’d hear people on a really bad TV movie talking about. Maybe even the term hybrid humans infected by the Intoxibella virus. The Intoxibella is taking over! Seriously.Delacorte Press is publishing the three part book series called Modelland, written by Tyra. When are you going to be sick of her?

I guess we didn’t have enough of her wisdom in our lives already? Any amount of respect I used to have for her back in the 90’s has pretty much disappeared as I’ve gotten to see more of her via reality TV. But it doesn’t matter, people will buy her books because they want the secrets of anyone they think is rich and happy. They don’t realize that it’s because they keep buying her recycled garbage junk that she is able to remain so rich.

Drawing from an area of expertise she is avidly passionate about, Tyra’s MODELLAND is the story of a teen girl in a make-believe society who finds herself competing for a way of life that’s both hotly desired and woefully out of reach at an academy for Intoxibellas, the most exceptional models known to humankind. As the plot unfolds, readers will uncover lessons that are buried beneath the surface of this magical world. The premise of the 3-part fantasy series is deeply rooted in Tyra’s core mission of expanding the definitions of beauty. In MODELLAND, Tyra’s innate ability to connect with women on issues ranging from relationships to body image finds a natural extension to the page.
