You know, it’s kind of funny… but I’ve never seen too much of Law & Order SVU and I still really want Benson and Stabler to get it ON! I guess it doesn’t take too much to see the chemistry there. TVGuide.com recently did a poll of fifteen TV duos to see which fans most want to see hook up together. Benson and Stabler won out over Chuck and Sarah (Chuck) and even House and Cuddy (House M.D.).
Chuck and Sarah seem pretty inevitable, so I’m not too worried for them. I’m not sure if House and Cuddy will ever get together, and to be honest I always had a tiny thing for House/Cameron! I know it’ll never happen, though. SIGH.
An interesting suggested pairing is Penny and Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory on CBS. While I totally see the appeal and think it would be very fun, I don’t think it would be very in-character for Sheldon to ever like Penny romantically. Kind of a bummer, though – because I don’t really enjoy Penny with Leonard. Jim Parsons as Sheldon steals every episode, as far as I’m concerned. (And I’m very concerned!)

I lost track of Chuck mid-first season, but seriously? They still haven’t coupled??
I don’t mind the coupling of long running characters as long as it doesn’t suddenly become the center of the series. I’m looking at you two, Jim and Pam…

I think Chuck and Sarah have dated on and off, but the fans want something more serious and definitive.
Jim and Pam were SO much more fun in the early seasons. Yikes! I’m still excited to watch the wedding, though.

Re: early season of The Office. I fell into the TBS trap of 3 hours of Office reruns the other night and was really reminded of how much funnier the show used to feel. I don’t think I’ve burned out on Dunder Mifflin, because the old ones still really made me laugh, I just don’t think the stories have been as solid recently. The season opener centered around Stanley’s affair… Come on writers!
At least 30 Rock will be back soon.

Know what you mean about House/Cameron. It’s a similar thing like with Sheldon/Penny-will never happen. Tho I like House/Cameron and I think Sheldon/Penny would be a jump-the-shark moment.

Yea – Sheldon and Penny are kind of like…cute in THEORY but I hope it never happens.
