True Blood season 7, episode 5 review: “Return to Oz”
| July 21, 2014 at 2:51 AM EDTPft, whatever. That’s what I have to say about all the shenanigans going on in Bon Temps now! There is NO WAY Bill could have contracted Hep V by drinking tainted blood so what the crap is going on?? Has the virus mutated? Are all vampire just going to get it now? But that makes no sense, because why would a vampire who’s been drinking clean blood get infected? So how in the hell did my precious Bill get this damned disease!? I was extremely upset when we found out that Eric was sick, but he said himself that he was careless and maybe he had to be because he got burnt and he needed whatever blood he could find to heal. I can accept that as a reason Eric could have Hep V (even though I still think Eric is too smart to be careless) but there is NO EASON for Bill to have it! Are we going to find out that he somehow got infected from the fight at Fangtasia? Someone better be finding a cure!

Ugh, I don’t even care about anything else.
Lafayette really disappointed me tonight. I know it might seem kind of silly, him being a past drug dealer and hooker, but I really thought Laffy had standards, at least when it came to his friends.
Yes, Jessica and James were pretty much donezo, and we all knew James and Lafayette were going to hook up, but cheating is just not cool. Of course Jessica cheated on Hoyt and just did the same thing to Violet that Lafayette did to her, so she doesn’t get a pass. But Lala had no right to be such an ass to her either. Basically everyone involved is a giant jerkface. And what kind of murder spree is Violet going to go on now? She didn’t bust in on Jason and Jessica for a reason.
Something bad is going to happen, that’s for sure.
At least Eric and Pam gave us a few chuckles. And I kind of loved Cowboy Eric. But other than that boo!
