The premiere for True Blood season 3 is quickly coming upon us, so HBO has released the first trailer. In the trailer promo you can hear the song “The Difference Between Us” by The Dead Weather. Could there be a more perfect song for this show? It looks like werewolves will be added into the deadly mix for season 3.

Joe Manganiello (who is VERA VERA HANDSOME) has been cast to play the werewolf Alcide Herveaux, who will be of great interest for Anna Paquin‘s character Sookie Stackhouse.We see a bit of the wolf in the trailer, which is fast-moving and hints at a lot of the expected juicy drama that True Blood always delivers. Can you believe they say things move at a slower pace down in the South?
