Do you dare risk reading spoilers for the True Blood finale? I hope so! The season three finale airs on Sunday, September 12 at 9 pm, only on HBO.  Based on the synopsis, it doesn’t seem like that much will be changing with any of the character’s except for Lafayette and Jason. And for once in my life, I really want some change! That’s right, buddies. Go tell my therapist, because that’s surely a break-through.

The True Blood plot feels a little deadlocked, or as though it’s come to a stalemate. Only so many things can change at once. It seems like Sookie will still be debating trying to stay away from Bill, Hoyt still wants Jessica, Eric still wants to get revenge against Russell, and Tommy is still pissing Sam off.

Where’s the zest? The za-za-zu?

Maybe my summer just hasn’t been exciting enough (I totally chickened out on white water rafting). Am I  expecting too much from this season? We’ve certainly gotten a lot… Like character deaths, secrets revealed, shirtless Alcide (which is very appreciated because he looks like a lumberjack in plaid shirts)…

I’m sure I’ll love the episode, the description is just a little lackluster… But maybe that’s for a good reason. Like, say, to conceal plot twists. I just hope that some of these character arc’s get some resolution!
