The Voice 2013 recap – Team Adam is…all girls?

It was a wild night on The Voice! And for Adam Levine, it was all about the ladies.

Eight people per team are left! The blinds are over. The battle rounds are over. And now, it’s the knockout’s! The artists are allowed to pick any song they want, but they don’t decide who they’ll be battling.

Team Adam was up first. Amber Carrington was paired with Midas Whale.

No steals, no saves! It was brutal and fast-paced. The fastest two-hours ever!

Judith Hill vs Orlando Dixon – Judith won!

Monique Abaddie vs Karina Iglesias – Karina won!

Warren Stone vs Sarah Simmons – Sarah won!

Sasha Allen vs Shawna P. – Sasha won!

Adam’s team is Amber Carrington, Caroline Glaser, Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons. All ladies!

Shakria’s team is Garrett Gardner, Kris Thomas, Karina Iglesias and Sasha Allen. Two males, and man, Sasha Allen can really take it to the end.

Me? I was most impressed by Judith Hill, Sarah Simmons and Sasha Allen. I think Caroline Glaser is great, but her voice is too specific, her direction too narrow, to win over all of America and all of the judges. Amber Carrington is also really, truly great, but she might not be unique enough to win. I’m not a huge fan of Garrett Gardner, Kris Thomas or Karina Iglesias, to be honest. So, we’ll see what happens next…
