The Vampire Diaries season 2 premiere date is Thursday, September 9 @ 8pm only on The CW.

I love that the danger level’s in season 2 will be high as of the very first episode (“The Return”) because Katherine has no intentions of being shy. I also love the way Damon is so gung-ho on protecting Elena. (I’m a total Elena/Damon fan, yes!)
