And what’s Damon up to these days? He’s intrigued by the moonstone once again. I gotta admit, I’m pretty interested in what Katherine’s plans for the moonstone were. It seems like Elena’s mission and Damon’s mission might come together at a cross-section of tension and intrigue. How could we merge those words? Cross-section of Tentrigue? Ha!

While so many other Vampire stories involve the girl begging her love to turn her, I like that Elena is tempted not by Stefan or Damon, but by Katherine, which is almost like being tempted by herself. That’s an interesting twist on the story.
