The Vampire Diaries Dialogue Panel Project is a new way to engage fans from all over the Internet in the fandom of TVD. Small Screen Scoop is hosting the project, but anyone is welcome to participate as long as we have open slots!

If you’ve made it over here, I’m very glad! And I hope you have some vervain. Mwahaha.

If you have a blog/site, or any online writing outlet of your own, what we’ll do is split the conversation and simply link to each other. That way you’ll have material of your own to post from our little chat experience. I think this will be a casual, fun way to discuss an episode. Both sides of the dialogue will link to each other. If this goes well, I might be expanding this feature for other shows.

Edit: Oh, a little piece of trivia that is fun and applicable, Ian Somerhalder actually has tweeted a link out to this site before. Made me feel like a rockstar for five minutes.

FAQ (Give it a quick read-through, at least once!)

1. Please let me know if I have your information right. I didn’t include last names unless I was sure you wanted them used. If you have a crazy stalker from France, I don’t want to be the one who leads them to you!
2. Please, also let me know any links you’d like included on my side. If you’re hosting half the conversation, I’d appreciate just a link to my twitter and to SSS.
3. If you have questions, at any point (except about math), e-mail me at Jessica (at) smallscreenscoop (dotcom)
4. A graphic will be provided for each Dialogue Panel. You don’t have to use it, but you are completely free to do so.
5. The conversation is meant to be silly, fun, and just to discuss the episode. No need to be shy! I’ll be in my pajamas, I’m sure!
6. We will hopefully do a roundtable dialogue for the Season 2 finale, involving as many past participants as possible. It will be crazy. Crazy-fun.
7. Yes, you are allowed to participate more than once.
8. Bring any knowledge you want to the table, but we’re not going to reveal major spoilers from the books.
9. As long as you’re fun, I don’t care if you write anywhere right now or not. Likewise, I don’t care if you write for a major TV site. If you’re a cool fan, then we want you on board. And time zones also don’t matter. However…
10. We’ll want to get these posted asap, ideally the day after the episode airs. Exceptions will be allowed, because strict rules suck. (Pun? Totally intended.)
11. We’ll discuss on AIM. These will be typed discussions, so you don’t need to worry about skyping or anything like that.
12. Remember your week – that’s what Google Calendar is for! Before the episode airs you and I should probably try to set up a time for our discussion based on our respective schedules and time zones. My e-mail is listed on this page (and on the “About” page), and that’s the best way to get a hold of me unless you can do really awesome smoke signals.

Promote, promote, promote! You can nominate someone or throw your own hat in the ring to be involved. Preference will be given to those with fun/engaging conversational styles! Comment or e-mail if you’re interested!
