Their brotherly bond is strengthening. Their chemistry together is great, and they keep their senses of humor. But Blake is worried they sometimes get a little sloppy.
They performed “Fishing in the Dark” by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
I found their performing to be charmingly upbeat. Did you find yourself tapping your foot? I did. Shakira was clapping. Everyone was digging the groove, man!
Blake gave them a standing ovation.
Usher was like, man, I don’t really uh, know this song. And he doesn’t fish in the dark.. but he does “sometimes…in other ways.” Ha!
Shakira said she thinks they are always so much fun, and they vibe. “You make me feel at ease, and comfortable. And I love comfortable.” And now I’m imagining Shakira in velour sweat pants around her house.
“This is so Blake. It’s like a country moment.” – Adam Levine, who also said he didn’t know the song.
