The Secret Circle Review: Adam? Oh No You Didn’t!

Jerking our Hearts. Adam (Thomas Dekker) isn’t a jerk on the whole, but he was acting like one in this episode! The way he tried to manipulate Diana (Shelley Hennig) into convincing Cassie (Britt Robertson) to stop feeling weird about hanging out with him was so low. Because he was hoping in the translation Diana would say it was cool to date him, or that Cassie would get that impression. And that’s just so mean.
Party Down. The outfits for all of the girls were so cute. I especially loved Diana’s white dress at the dance. Cassie’s red capri pants and jacket was really fun, too.
Finally, You! I’m not talking about Jake (Chris Zylka.) I’m talking about Melissa! (Jessica Parker Kennedy) This episode really made me love her more than ever. Seeing her bonding with Diana was sweet.
Half a Villain. Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) makes for a good villain, but at the end of the episode I could still see her point of view, and I understood her motivations. She is still good and means well. Of course, now she’s really hurt. And doing magic with a sexy guy might be the cure. But Lee (Grey Damon) is probably the true villain here…
