The TV Show Using the ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ House

Please don’t ask me WHY I was listening to commentary from Ghost Whisperer season 1 DVDs, but I was. (Actually I will tell you – my cat was sleeping on me and I didn’t want to get up to change the DVD so I tried to see if there was anything else on the disc.) Anyway, it was revealed that the back porch (I’m not sure about the front) that Jim and Melinda Gordon share on Ghost Whisperer is the same back porch that was in To Kill a Mockingbird and that the Finch family lived in. Pretty bizarre. Meanwhile, the front of the Ghost Whisperer house is where Boo Radley lived (but it has been repainted/remodeled). The inside of the house is different. But it still seems almost sacrilegious.

I’m surprised that Ghost Whisperer is NOT canceled yet and still has episodes airing. But maybe there’s a reason. Maybe it got better? If it didn’t have good ratings, it would be gone. So people must be watching.
