Has The Carrie Diaries been renewed for a season 2?

It would be awfully nice to know, as we watch The Carrie Diaries season 1 finale, whether we were getting a second season. Am I wrong?

But there are also other things that would be nice… like having a Ryan Gosling lookalike robot that does laundry for you, or an easy way to cure Pinterest addiction. (Mine is clearly thriving, kthnx.)

As of today, April 8, 2013, The Carrie Diaries has not been renewed for season 2, which is a true shame. In honor of this tragedy, I’m playing The Bangles “Manic Monday” on repeat.

I really hope The Carrie Diaries is not canceled. If  it is, we won’t get weekly injections of the darling AnnaSophia Robb. And that’s just not a world I want to be living in, guys. Not when heaven should be a place on earth.

At least for now, we have one more episode. The Carrie Diaries finale airs on The CW, tonight at 8 pm EST.
