Project Runway Season 8 Finale: Wrong Winner? Fans Are Displeased

| October 30, 2010 at 10:11 PM EDT

So, it’s time for the last review of Project Runway season 8.I really had to summon my strength to write this because I was pretty uninspired by the results of the finale. By now, I’m sure you know that between Andy South, Mondo Guerra and Gretchen Jones – Gretchen Jones was picked as the winner. […]

Our Psychic Project Runway Scores: 2/3 at Fashion Week Were Our Picks Before the Season 8 Premiere

| October 28, 2010 at 3:13 PM EDT

Project Runway has its finale tonight with the final three. So it seemed like a good time to look back at what we thought when season 8 began, before we’d even seen an episode and only had picture and facts to go on. Did we have good things to say about the final three, or […]

Project Runway Season 8 Episode 13: The Final Three

| October 23, 2010 at 1:49 AM EDT

Thursday was the first part of the Project Runway Season 8 finale. Michael Costello was sent packing and we’re left with Andy South, Gretchen Jones, and Mondo Guerra. You may know that we haven’t been kind to Costello on Small Screen Scoop. I don’t like him at all. I’m willing to say that he can […]

Project Runway Season 8: Gothic Tinkerbell is Gone

| October 15, 2010 at 9:35 AM EDT

When we began Project Runway last night we had five contestants left. By the end of the episode there was four. DUN DUN DUN. The final five contestants were: Michael Costello (loved by the judges, mostly hated by his fellow contestants), Gretchen Jones (who has a penchant for all things boho, pretentious, and with tall […]

Positivity from Project Runway’s Michael Drummond

| October 9, 2010 at 10:20 AM EDT

Michael Drummond of Project Runway season 8 continues to be someone to adore. In case you missed them, we had three PR posts on Friday: Project Runway Season 8: Statute of Limitations for Cheating (& Heidi Klum = Hard Ass) Wherein Michael Costello is hated. Andy South’s Project Runway Designs for New Balance on Amazon […]

The Real Project Runway Season 8 Cheating Scandal with…Mondo Guerra & Heidi Klum?

| October 8, 2010 at 12:13 PM EDT

I don’t think that Mondo Guerra cheated. I think that HKNB Heidi Klum for New Balance MAY have cheated and stole design vision from Mondo! But perhaps after the show Mondo was hired by them, or compensated. Or, perhaps these pieces were made and available to be sold before Mondo designs his. But the reason […]

Andy South’s Project Runway Designs for New Balance on Amazon

| October 8, 2010 at 9:06 AM EDT

Last night Andy South won the Project Runway challenge and his three designs are now sold in the HKNB Heidi Klum for New Balance collection. But it’s interesting to see how the pieces were taken from the runway to the website. When I went to Amazon.com, an ad for this popped right up. Nice marketing.

Project Runway Season 8: Statute of Limitations for Cheating (& Heidi Klum = Hard Ass)

| October 8, 2010 at 8:41 AM EDT

Last night was another new episode of Project Runway season 8. And boy, this was one of the most dramatic episodes they’ve had all season. (Which is saying a lot.) Our final six are: Gretchen Jones, Christopher Collins, Michael Costello, Andy South, and April Johnston. That’s four males and just two females! As we began […]

Now That’s How to Say ‘Goodbye’ on Project Runway

| October 1, 2010 at 11:20 PM EDT

I’ve never made it a secret that Valerie Mayen was one of my favorite cast members for Project Runway season 8. What was baffling is that her designs started off as some of my favorites, and progressed to some of my least. But through all of that, the thing that remained the same was her […]

Project Runway takes a Subtle Dig at J-Crew

| September 11, 2010 at 9:01 AM EDT

In the Project Runway episode “You Can Totally Wear That Again,” designers were forced to contend with some truly horrible bridesmaid dresses. The challenge was to take the original dresses, use most of their fabric, and transform it into something actually cute and wearable. For those who spend too much time looking through J-Crew catalog’s […]
