MAD MEN Season 5 Premiere Review – Zou Bisou, Bisou

| March 26, 2012 at 4:20 PM EDT

Mad Men season 5 picked up with some light topics like race, sexism, age and politics. Joan as a Mom She’s not the polished Joan we remember from previous seasons of Mad Men. Here, she’s softer and more human. She’s not detached. She’s even a little bit run down. And, boy, is her Mother annoying.

| October 18, 2010 at 7:17 AM EDT

If you found yourself watching the Mad Men finale last night and wondering if the show had suddenly decided to film “psych!” dream fantasies, you aren’t alone. Let’s dive right into the head of the major plot points, shall we? Joan is preggers. I’d be surprised if most people didn’t notice her stomach in her […]

| September 27, 2010 at 9:00 AM EDT

As we come hurtling towards the final three episodes of Mad Men season 4, everything on the show is intensifying. Mad Men Review: The Summer Man (and the Scorned Woman)

| September 13, 2010 at 3:15 PM EDT

More prevalent than anything else in last night’s episode of Mad Men “The Summer Man” seemed to have strong emphasis on gender issues. Mad Men ‘Christmas Comes But Once a Year’ Review

| August 2, 2010 at 3:15 AM EDT

We got a taste of Christmas in August on the Mad Men episode “Christmas Comes But Once a Year.” People were jolly, and bitter, and functionally drunk. Sometimes all at once. If there’s any lesson in this episode that I learned, it’s that no matter how many times I despise Don Draper, bottom line – […]

Mad Men Public Relations Review

| July 29, 2010 at 10:09 AM EDT

Don Draper doesn’t like questions. / Photo: AMC So, it’s time to finally really digest the season premiere of Mad Men, “Public Relations.” Three Things We Liked: Roger Sterling is still a jerk. We’re glad he hasn’t changed in an episode with so much change. And he still has the best witty one-liner’s. The time […]
