Jeanine Mason wins "So You Think You Can Dance"

Tonight on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance” 2009 finale, Jeanine Mason was crowned the winner of season 5. A raven-haired beauty with some smokin’ curves (especially for a dancer), Jeanine had the obstacle of being partnered with Phillip for the first four weeks or so. Let’s face it, Phillip is a great hip-hopper […]

‘So You Think You Can Dance’ finale

Jeanine, a finalist on 'So You Think You Can Dance

Last night the Final Four faced off on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” I’ve said all along that I thought Evan and Kayla really didn’t deserve to be in the Final Four and last night proved me exactly right. My Final Four was actually Ade, Brandon, Janette and Melissa. However, I’ll rescind my […]

"American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi returning

FOX sent out a press release today announcing Kara DioGuardi’s return to “American Idol,” making it all official-like. DioGuardi was the fourth judge, added just this past season and was very polarizing with fans. I happen to fall into the Like Kara category, even despite the fact that she helped write that horrible song for […]

Jeanine Mason wins "So You Think You Can Dance"

The finale is set. Last night FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance” sent home the last two dancers before the finals. I don’t necessarily agree with the American Public voting, but on shows like this I hardly ever do. Ade and Melissa were the ones sent packing. Now, as far as the women go, […]

Ju'not Joyner from "American Idol"

Ju’not Joyner, a mediocre semi-finalist from this past season of “American Idol,” had some harsh things to say about the popular reality competition. Joyner told Yahoo that he “was cut from the competition, and not invited back for the Wild Card round (a shock to many viewers wowed by his memorable ‘Hey There Delilah’ performance) […]

‘More to Love’: Big women, big hearts

| July 28, 2009 at 10:46 PM EDT
Luke, star of FOX's "More to Love"

Tonight on FOX’s new reality dating show “More to Love,” I was surprised by just how much hope the women are putting into this show. They do know that only one of them wins, right? I’m uncomfortable with the entire concept, like a “Bachelor” Special Olympics because big women can’t possibly compete with “normal” reality […]
