Supernatural “Changing Channels” Episode Review
Supernatural mocked famous TV’s shows this past Thursday night in the episode Changing Chanels. “Dean and Sam find themselves mystically trapped in a series of real-life ‘TV shows’ and there appears to be no escape. They believe their old enemy the Trickster is responsible, but discover someone or something else is involved.”
While the show managed to use actual lore within the show, it was mostly aimed at the audience and not a whole ton of character growth (until the end) was accomplished. Why so many fluffy episodes, Supernatural? Next week looks like an equally silly/fluffy episode where Sam and Dean end up at a Supernatural Convention. Anyone else miss the serious stuff? I appreciate the funny a lot more when it’s interspersed with more care.
