Summer Glau is Darkly Sexy in her latest THE CAPE Pictures
| December 29, 2010 at 3:55 PM ESTIn The Cape, stunning Summer Glau (Firefly, Dollhouse, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) plays the aptly named Orwell. (George Orwell was the pen name for Eric Arthur Blair, known best for writing 1984 and Animal Farm.)
What do we know about Orwell on The Cape? If you’re first instinct is to do some research (much like me) then you might actually be similar to the character. Orwell is an investigative blogger! Dun dun dun. She teams up with The Cape to help fight the war on crime, corruption and general evilness in Palm City. Sounds like a fun (though dangerous) gig, doesn’t it? Orwell reminds me of Lois Lane, except I don’t think Lois Lane was quite this badass. (Sorry, superhero purists! I can literally hear Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper of The Big Bang Theory now lecturing me on how it is blasphemy to type such atrocities. Blah blah!)
Trivia: Why else is The Big Bang Theory relevant to this post? That’s right, you smarty – Summer Glau once guest starred in an episode as herself, a sci-fi nerd’s dream girl. You don’t have to be a sci-fi fantastic to think Glau is awesome, though.
