Style Standoff: Blake Lively vs. Leighton Meester
Two young starlets enter the ring, but only one will emerge victorious in this stylish standoff. While Blake opted for all black at a recent event, Leighton went blue.
Blake Lively was in New York at the 2009 Angel Ball in late October. The event was hosted by Denise Richards. (Am I the only one who wants to ask “Why?”) Lively accentuated her flawless complexion with a simple look.
Leighton Meester was at the 2009 New York Public Library Benefit with Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan on her arm. We’re surprised he could recognize Meester under all of that foliage. Doesn’t she know that the huge flower look is so “Sex and the City Movie 1.0“? She’s lost her neck in far too many of the pictures, and she’d be booted off of America’s Next Top Model in this look. Not that I uh, watch… You’re better than this, L. Pull it together.

Leighton isn’t putting up much of a fight here! But she usually does good, at least.
