Why make a marriage proposal an intimate moment between you and your intended? Nah. Why not pop in on a cover of a sub-par magazine (have you ever heard of Steppin’ Out?), shirtless and with a floppy hat? THAT’S romance.

Snooki of The Jersey Shore is dating Jeff Miranda. He’s on the cover of Steppin’ Out with the words “Will You Marry Me?”

He tells the magazine, “I could see us having children. I want to pop the question to her. If we got married, we would be the best parents around. She’s so loving and puts everyone else before herself. She’ll be a great mother.”

“I will never break her heart,” he said. “She’s such a great girl. If people could see us together they would think we’re a match made in heaven. People think I’m using her for fame. But that’s bulls*it.” – Jeff Miranda

Best part? This magazine isn’t on shelves yet (it was first released from Radar Online.) Snooki will probably learn about the proposal from some drunk dude at a club. Second best part? From his quotes (“I want to pop the question to her” as a future action to take), it seems like Miranda wasn’t going to propose in the magazine. They probably convinced him to do it as a great PR move. Ridiculous.
