Ellona Santiago — Applause — If I Were A Boy — The X Factor 2013| December 5, 2013 at 2:33 AM EDT
The X Factor 2013 Top 6 had a long but good night on Wednesday as they each took on two songs each, hoping to wow America into sending them into the semi-finals next week.
Ellona Santiago fought hard with her versions of Lady Gaga’s “Applause” and Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy.” I was NOT a fan of “Applause” but I really liked “If I Were a Boy.”
Here’s what I thought of Ellona’s performances during our live recap of the Top 6 performance show:
Ellona Santiago, “Applause.” This was a joke, right? She looked ridiculous. She was saying some word other than “applause.” I don’t even know what that was. I’m calling that the worst performanceof the season. I thought it was awful.
Ellona Santiago, “If I Were a Boy.” Well this was a lot better than her first performance. I would have gone with a different Beyonce song, but whatever. Her vocals were good, which means she’s better than those dumb production numbers Demi forces her into.
What do you think of Ellona Santiago? Does she have the X Factor? Check out her performances below and let us know what you think.
