Alex & Sierra — Blurred Lines — The X Factor 2013| November 1, 2013 at 9:00 AM EST
The X Factor 2013 Top 16 performed this week and we were left with a pretty solid Top 12 after the judges made their cuts. Among those moving onto next week are early favorites Alex & Sierra.
They delivered a unique, unplugged version of Robin Thicke’s popular hit “Blurred Lines.” The vocals were good and their chemistry is fantastic. Of course this is The X Factor and there was some really silly production going on in the background. I’m not sure why the production wasn’t as stripped as the song. But this show has a really hard time editing itself.
Regardless of the production, Alex & Sierra’s “Blurred Lines” was one of the best of the night. And Simon Cowell did not hesitate putting them into his Final 3 when the time came.
Check out Alex & Sierra’s “Blurred Lines” cover below and let us know what you think. Do they have the X Factor? Did Simon Cowell make the right call putting them through to sing for America’s votes?
