The Voice 2013 Finale Live Results: And The Winner Is …| December 17, 2013 at 8:39 PM EDT
Tonight either Jacquie Lee, Tessanne Chin or Will Champlin will be crowed the winner of The Voice 2013.
We’ve got a night jam-packed with performances of guest starts, past contestants and the three finalists. We’ll be covering the finale results live so be sure to stick with us. At the end of the two-hour extravaganza, we’ll have the winner!
The opening number got the show off to a nice start. The Top 20 all on the stage at once with “Tonight is the Night” was a nice way to open the show.
Jacquie Lee brought back past contestants James Wolpert, Matthew Schuler, Cole Vosbury and Caroline Pennell to take on Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” And it wasn’t that bad. I usually hate group numbers or anyone who takes on Queen, but this was pretty solid.
Tessane Chin teams up with her personal hero Celine Dion and they were great playing off each other. At times I couldn’t tell which one was singing.
The Voice guys took on Bruno Mars’ “Treasure” and it was pretty entertaining. It was nice to see Matthew, Ray Boudreaux, Preston Poole, Josh Logan and Nic Hawk on the stage again.
Will Champlin decided to bring back Jonny, Cole, Caroline and Austin to help him out with “Wagon Wheel” and it was actually pretty cool. It was smooth and mellow and I found myself getting into it. Which hasn’t happened yet tonight.
Jacquie teaming up with Paramore wasn’t something I expected to happen, but it was actually kind of cool.
Too many people on stage at once but at least they’re covering Kelly Clarkson, so that’s good.
It’s time for the finalists to pick out their free cars. They each get a brand new Kia. Celine Dion comes back to the stage and she and Ne-Yo perform their new collaboration.
Will is back up and he’s tearing up the stage. I would love to see Will win, but I don’t see that happening.
James, Preston, Olivia and Grey join Tessanne on the stage and this was a very solid group performance. Are you guys ready for Tessanne to win this?
But before we get to the winner, we’ve got a duet between Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera. And it was basically the best thing to be on television in a long time. Twitter was in a complete uproar over the pairing and I give it an A+++.
- 3rd place: Will Champlin (Team Adam)
- 2nd place: Jacquie Lee (Team Christina)
- The Voice 2013 Winner: Tessanne Chin (Team Adam)
