The Voice Season 4 Top 5 Finalists| June 4, 2013 at 9:17 PM EDT
The Voice top 5 mixed things up tonight when NBC decided to wait before getting down to the season’s top 4 finalists. Instead of sending how a pair of artist just one singer left the competition with only two weeks away from the Season 4 finale.
The big news from tonight’s The Voice results show was the first loss for Coach Blake Shelton. That means coaches Adam, Shakira, and Usher all remain safely in the race to the finish line on June 18, 2013.
Yes, our expectations were correct this week with the Top 6 results. Singer Sasha Allen pulled through with enough votes to keep Coach Shakira in the game. Michelle Chamuel dominated the charts which means we’ll see Coach Usher again next week. Then Amber Carrington had what it took to keep Coach Adam from being completely wiped out in just two short weeks.
Team Blake will press on with two acts: Danielle Bradbery and The Swon Brothers. We’ve never seen a duo make it this far in the competition so it’s quite an accomplishment for these two guys. Meanwhile we’re still keeping an eye on Danielle as she skyrockets straight to the finale. She’s got a real shot at winning this whole thing!
Next week we expect to see two artists cut from The Voice top 5 finalists to keep us on track for just three acts to perform in the season finale. Things should be very close and we won’t be surprised if more than one coach gets eliminated by this time next week.
Which artist from the 2013 season’s Top 5 are you most excited to see perform again next week on The Voice?
