Preston Pohl — No Woman No Cry — and Lina Guadenzi — I’d Rather Go Blind — The Voice 2013| October 30, 2013 at 1:31 AM EST
The Voice 2013 Knockout Rounds wrapped up Tuesday night and we’re now headed into the live rounds. We saw some pretty fantastic performances from the night and a few surprising decisions among the coaches.
Not so surprising was when Adam decided to name Preston Pohl the winner after his Knockout performance with Lina Gaudenzi.
Preston took on the mellow “No Woman No Cry” by Bob Marley and while I thought that was a bit of a risk because it is so mellow, it paid off in the end. He delivered a great version and proved that he’s versatile and means business in this competition.
Lina’s version of “I’d Rather Go Blind” was better than I thought it was going to be, to be honest. I liked it. But I totally understand why Adam went with Preston for the win.
Check out the performances below and lets us know what you think. Did Adam make the right decision picking Preston?
