Scandal is mostly okay with its cliffhangers. You just know an episode’s going to end on one, no matter how much story there is left to tell. Tonight’s cliffhanger was expected but still effective. It was telegraphed all night that Olivia’s mom would escape to see her daughter. Scandal doesn’t usually do anything this blatant, […]
This show. Scandal is back, y’all. And all I can say is it’s about damn time. Tonight’s episode was by far the best of the season, and for the first time all season I am very much ready for next Thursday. I have a lot of thoughts about “Everything’s Coming Up Mellie.” A lot. Mostly, […]
In Thursday’s all new episode, “Everything’s Coming Up Mellie,” Olivia finally tells OPA all about Operation Remington. They all learn the identity of Papa Pope and how he gave the order to take the plane down. But wait! Olivia also tells her “Gladiators” that Fitz was the pilot! Huh. Well, wasn’t that a damn exciting episode? I’m very interested in Operation Remington which is why I didn’t care too much about the bomb plot. It seemed like such a one off, case of the week-type storyline, but as with everything with Scandal, we will probably definitely not be surprised to see this storyline […]
Okay, so I don’t have a DVR or a TIVO or whatever. But after tonight’s episode I have definitely got to get one. I have no idea what happened. I’ve forgotten how fast this show moves. It’s incredible. I know I’m going to miss something, so if I don’t mention it in this review it […]
Last week’s episode was a knockout for sure, but maybe a little disappointing in terms of the narrative. It did nothing to advance the Albatross plot, but we finally got to know a little about Huck. Tonight’s episode was as intense but in a completely different way.
