Sheldon’s Cylon Toaster begs the question, “Why Can’t MY Toast be Fun, Too?”

The latest episode of The Big Bang Theory, The Cornhusker Vortex, delivered many great elements for our Big Bang devotion. There were kites (always cooler in theory than when actually in use), Football jerseys aka Football cocktail dresses, and a very busy toaster that could imprint bread with the face of a Cylon (Sheldon Cooper strikes again!).

I don’t know exactly what a Cylon is…so maybe it was the symbol of a Cylon? See, I haven’t ever really gotten into BSG – although someday I might. Anyway, while I don’t really want my very own Cylon toaster (which you CAN get on eBay if you really want: Cylon Toaster) I really AM on board with the idea of making toast fun again. (I’ve grown weary of sprinkling sugar/cinnamon on it, sue me.) So, who wants to find cool toasters? I do, I do!

PopArtToaster.com is probably one of the funkiest websites I’ve seen in a while (and this is the INTERWEBS – there are lots of funky websites). They have a really large selection of fun toasters. Whether you want to toast the words ‘I’m Hot’, ‘Bite Me’, ‘boys r smelly’ (David & Goliath toaster), some monogramed initails,  or the image of Minnie Mouse – this site pretty much has you covered with their ridiculously large selection of different toasters.

Man, I never knew toast could be this intense.

Feeling alone in your cylon toast love? No way! UberFanGirl also enjoyed the Cylon toast! Clique Clack cited the Cylon toast as the best part of the episode. The Two Cents was another big fan of – you guessed it, the Cylon toast. It’s such a small thing, but it gives us such reason to love. 😛
