Sharon Osbourne is a marketing genius. No, really.

See, Osbourne has a new all-women daytime talk show in the works . The line-up includes Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, CBS Early Show anchor & Big Brother host Julie Chen, and actress-turned-autism rights advocate Holly Robinson-Peete (a fellow competitor with Osbourne on The Celebrity Apprentice.)

When I heard about this show, I immediately thought about The View. And how much I don’t enjoy that show. Odds do not seem good for me to tune-into this new program, either.

It would seem that Osbourne knows people are/would be making associations with The View,  which she doesn’t want. She was recently quoted saying:

“God the women on ‘The View’ are such boring old tarts. Dried up old b*****s. I could never be really good on a show with women because I don’t cook.”

Bashing your competitor’s has never sounded so funny.
