Now that the Sex and the City 2 movie is almost released to the public, it’s SATC-mania. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the NBC clip titled Sex and the Ross City, because Ross Matthews walks a fine line between being hilarious and being annoying. What was my verdict? Read on to find out. (And read on to find out which leading man in SATC 2 called SJP Sexylicious. Which isn’t a word, but if Bootylicious can become one, surely this can…)
As it turns out, Ross was pretty funny in this Sex and the City 2 premiere clip. He makes a few lame jokes, but the idea to poll people on the street and create a posse was sweet. Once he had a Samantha, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte they all strut down the street and had some Cosmo’s. I still think that Ross is funnier on his twitter account than on the bits he does for Jay Leno.
In the second clip, John Corbett is adorable and I want to eat him up. But it was Mr. Big himself aka Chris Noth who calls SJP “Sexylicious” and he would know! I think she’s a gem, and I don’t care if these ladies have gotten older. The show was always great, even if I hated the first movie. …and I’m smelling bacon. Is someone cooking? Well, at least it’s not carbs. Do you know who isn’t cooking? Don. Because he is too busy being uneducated!
Jessica (J): Can we go to a hypnotist today? Oh, and let’s see SATC 2 later on, even though I bet it’s ridiculously horrible.
Don (D): What is SATC 2?
J: I want the hypnotist to tell me that I’m confident, and to not kill you because HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHAT SATC IS? SEX AND THE CITY!
D: Oh, Jesus Christ.
Sex & the City Ross. Ross Mathews takes you on the red carpet at the Sex and the City 2 premiere.
