The Grayson manor has an actual turret, letting Mrs. Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) look over the land like she was an actual queen. The Revenge Pilot was filmed in actual houses. The Grayson house interior is in Landfall, North Carolina. (Now it’s been built as a set in California.) The Wrightsville Beach Magazine featured images of the house. As for the exterior of the real Grayson House, it’s said to be a photoshopped image with multiple inspirations.
