Top 10 Psych Quotes from Season 6 ‘This Episode Sucks’
| October 27, 2011 at 11:28 AM EDTIf a show enjoys a good meta moment, chances are they have tackled the subject of vampires recently. Well, Psych is having their stab at vampires this week in their Halloween episode. It’s chock full of fun vampire nostalgia with cameos from Corey Feldman (The Lost Boys), Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer – the movie) and Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer – the series).
Psych Quotes Season 6
While I personally thought a lot of the best moments were reaction shots this week, these are my favorite Psych quotes….
Shawn: What we’re up against here is no mere mortal. I’m afraid this very well may be the work of…. a vampire.
Gus (in his best Bill Compton voice): Sookie is mine!
Gus: It’s like the Roadrunner stopping and saying, “You know what, Wild E, you’ve earned this. Blow me up.”
Shawn: You’re saying the Coyote has a first name?
Gus: Yeah.
Shawn: It’s not O-S-C-A-R?
Gus: That’s bologna
Shawn: You’re bologna.
Bartender: Look who’s talking. Count Chocula over here. Please.
Gus: Count Chocula? You must be outta your damn mind.
Shawn: No one remembers Blacula except for us and Quentin Tarantino.
Lassiter: The only thing it compares to is the rush and jubilation I felt when I heard Chuck Norris speak at an NRA convention…
Juliet: We’re going to need to talk to your roommates to see who made the call.
Marlowe: Yeah, I understand. It’s Eddie, Jake and Lucian.
Juliet, Shawn & Gus: Where’s Lucian?
Shawn: Come on Lassie. Let the right ones in, buddy.
Gus: Unless you’re already undead.
Shawn: In which case would you kindly impale yourself with a wooden stake?
Marlowe: These nails were made popular by Jersey Shore.
Gus: Nice try, Queen of the Damned.
Henry: J-Woww does wear those nails when they go out clubbing.
Henry: How much blood was it?
Shawn: Just a little stream. It wasn’t like the end of Carrie. Or the beginning of Carrie.
(I had to include this last one just because referencing the beginning of Carrie in that respect cracked me up.)
Kudos to Shawn Spencer himself, James Roday, on another wonderful outing as the co-writer and director of this episode! The man knows and respects this show, the characters and pop-culture so well. He should get more love. Although Dule Hill wins the episode for his reaction every time someone called him Count Chocula. And for not laughing when Corbin Bernsen played with his lips. And for chloroforming himself.
Next week – Superheroes!!
