Michael Drummond of Project Runway season 8 continues to be someone to adore.

In case you missed them, we had three PR posts on Friday:

  1. Project Runway Season 8: Statute of Limitations for Cheating (& Heidi Klum = Hard Ass) Wherein Michael Costello is hated.
  2. Andy South’s Project Runway Designs for New Balance on Amazon Some cute stuff, but only if you want to pay exorbitant prices for mediocre designs.
  3. The Real Project Runway Season 8 Cheating Scandal with…Mondo Guerra & Heidi Klum? Look at these designs and tell me someone didn’t copy the other.

Today, it’s previously eliminated designer Michael Drummond that’s taken my attention. When Movieline asked him if it was hard to be a part of the Project Runway decoy show, he said:

“No! You kidding me? I think it’s most designers’ dream — or American designers — to show at Fashion Week. So no way! We’re exposed to the same amount of press that they are. We’re held with the same regard for the most part. I’m [appreciated] more like anchovies and not potato chips, and I got great responses and absolutely awful ones. But I heard really wonderful things from people whose names I can’t mention, [and] I think the NY Post called me a visionary, so I’m OK with that.”

I would be BFF with Drummond in a heartbeat. What about you?
