Pretty Little Liars ‘Through Many Dangers, Toils and Snares’ Review – Guys, He Made Her a Chair

We were all wondering just what would make the Pretty Little Liars suddenly shun Emily (Shay Mitchell) and last night in “Through Many Dangers, Toils and Snares” boy did we learn!

Probably the biggest shock of the return of Pretty Little Liars was realizing how fooled we were by Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) by pretending they were in a feud with Emily! We were so into trying to figure out what had happened between them, we never saw the big reveal coming – it was ALL A ROUSE! Oh, man! They fooled us pretty good. (How much did you love that Spencer and Emily girl fight?) And it turns out that they really fooled “A” too. That actually leads us to one of the other best parts of the episode…

“A” wasn’t captured by the girls, but they didn’t get away unscathed. First, Hanna got unintentional revenge when she hit “A” with her car (we cheered!) and then the girls realized “A” had dropped their cell phone. That’s a huge deal! What do you think they’ll find on it?

Big steps were taken in the girls love lives last night. Except for Emily, but she had a ton of other stuff going on.

First up is Spencer and Toby who “A” broke up a month ago. Toby can’t figure out why Spencer broke up with him, but he’s not turned on her. He still cares. He even made her a chair! Which is random, but sweet! So the whole ordeal is heartbreaking. And Toby hasn’t stopped being a friend to Emily, so he tried to talk some sense into Spencer. It was kind of a slap in the face to hear Toby tell her that she sounded like Alison, especially without being able to tell Toby the truth. She had hoped that after that night she’d be able to come clean to Toby and be with him again, but the plan didn’t go off without a hitch. Poor Spoby.

Next up is Aria and Ezra. When Ezra figured out why Aria had broken up with him, he got furious at Jackie and her super flat hair. This encouraged him to reveal the nature of his relationship with Aria to her parents. This didn’t go over well with the Montgomery’s.

We can’t forget about Hanna and her complicated love life. She’s still madly, crazy in love with Caleb. But she doesn’t seem to realize how badly Lucas is into her. And we kind of love how sweet, nerdy and supportive he is of her.

Other than that, we learned that Hanna’s jerk Dad is moving Isabel and Kate to Rosewood, and that Emily may not be allowed back on the swim team. Can you stand the excitement until the next episode of PLL!?
