Everyone in Rosewood has a secret, but Aria Montgomery’s (Lucy Hale) may take the cake. Not only is she dating her former Rosewood High English teacher, but she’s dating a HOT English teacher with nice abs. Her friends know her dirty little secret, but she’s successfully kept her family in the dark. These quotes from seasons 1 and 2 will show both Aria’s witty and serious sides.

Just wait until Spencer starts dating Toby. Then you’ll really be surprised! But seriously, can you blame her? He may be a little creepy in the first few episodes, but he’s one heck of a scrabble player and he’s willing to help Spencer.

Ezra: What did you think?
Aria: That I was embarrassed my friends thought you had nice legs.

Caleb is also pretty handy with cell phones and uses lines like “And that’s a very pretty dress, but you should know, it gives you backfat.” He’s okay in my book!

Lucy Hale, this was one of your best moments on the show. You may have been crying hysterically, but you were absolutely brilliant. I got chills during this scene.

2.) “From ages 2-7, my family used to call me Pookie Bear. But all good things must come to an end.”

Aria, if Ezra Fitz wants to call you Pookie Bear, then my advice is just to go with it.

1.) “Did you guys have practice or did you lose your balls?”

I have no witty remark for this quote. Aria nailed it. NAILED it!
