Don Draper would never make THIS Planter’s Peanuts ad mistake…
| August 31, 2013 at 4:49 PM EDTWe are all aware that the word “peanuts,” repeated several times, can start to sound a bit like the the name of the male anatomy. And then you pair that idea with phrases like…
“I can’t put the peanut inside your mouth, only you can do that.”
Planter’s latest campaign to remind you to eat peanuts, is based around “Harness the Power of the Peanut.”
In their new commercial, they make it hard for those, even with relatively clean minds, not to think dirty. Was this intentional, or a huge oversight?
Don Draper (Mad Men) would never let this go by, unless he meant it to be a very edgy ad.
Screeners, you like this commercial or not?
