DWTS 2014 – Did Peta Murgatroyd and James Maslow really date?

Tonight we learned on Dancing with the Stars 2014, that James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd have met before they became dance partners. Though Peta seemed more open about their past, even James did admit that they’d been on a date.

After their tense and romantic dance, Maslow wasn’t about to start any rumors. When asked about what’s going on with their chemistry, he said, “Shes trying to teach me how to dance, that’s what’s going on.”
And further comment? “You know…we had met…”
But both insisted it wasn’t awkward to be partnered up together. However…someone called BS on that.
