Patrick Swayze dies from cancer at age 57
Aw man. It’s just so sad to lose your first crush, even if you didn’t know him in real life. I first fell for Patrick Swayze when I was 7 years old and saw “Dirty Dancing.” I felt so naughty because I knew I shouldn’t be watching that movie, but I wanted to be Baby Houseman SO badly and I wanted Patrick Swayze to come and teach me how to dance.
Nobody puts Baby in a corner, indeed.

Patrick Swayze as I want to remember him.
Swayze has been battling pancreatic cancer for two years and finally succumbed today at the age of 57 in Los Angeles. He had continued to work on his A&E series “The Beast” while undergoing treatment for the cancer and garnered very positive reviews from critics and fans alike for his portrayal of a corrupt FBI agent.
RIP Johnny Castle.

Another talented star gone. May he rest in peace and may his death be an inspiration in finding a cure for pancreatic cancer. As he said earlier this year “I want to last until they find a cure, which means I’d better get a fire under it.”
