Paris Hilton, and her mother, Kathy Hilton, appeared on The View on June 1, 2011. Paris was there promoting the latest in her long line of reality TV contributions – a show called “The World According to Paris.” This new Paris Hilton show will air on the Oxygen Network, premiering on June 1st, 2011 at 10:00 p.m.

In a highlighted clip from the show, Paris tells Kathy about how her new housekeeper is a writer for porn. Yee gads! Eight years ago Paris Hilton had a sex tape released, and many may have wished there had been a writer for that.  (Low blow? Sure. But arguably deserved depending on your point of view.)

Paris shrugs at the mention of shows that feature the Kardashians. “This show is more different than anything on TV. It’s more real. Anything that happens…it’s all about my life, and really shows an inside look at my family, my friends, and everything that happens. I think a lot of these shows are scripted, this one’s not at all. You can’t write the stuff that happens in my life. It’s so unpredictable.”But is it edited? Of course.

So, are you pro-Paris or anti-Paris? Is it odd that not even The CW wanted to take on this reality TV series? Will anyone be watching?
