Does Steven Tyler just love everything and everyone?

In performing “What’s Love Got to Do With It”, American Idols’ Naima Adedapo gave only flashes of star power as her pitchy vocals left doubt in two of the judges.

What did the judges think?

Steven Tyler – Loved it.

Jlo – With her lioneess hair from the 80’s and catchphrase of “baby” Jennifer Lopez wasn’t afraid to be honest. She noted her worry that Naima is consistently pitchy. Said her flavor is crazy.

Randy – He was glad that Jennifer brought up the pitchy issue. But she’s got the energy, though she’s a bit of a mess. The vocals were all over the place.

Naima said she could roll with it and understood what they’re saying. Then she said she gets pitchy because she feels it too much. Hopefully she can improve, and fast. Because she’s talented without the pitchy issue. And being able to perform on stages while sounding good is a pretty important element needed to win this thing.
