On The Mindy Project episode “Wiener Man” last night, Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) admitted to her fancy-smancy date that her favorite singer is, in fact, Katy Perry. SHOCK, HORROR.
Plenty of people seem afraid to admit when they like pop music – from Katy Perry to Taylor Swift. But we need pop music, people. It makes us happy, and it has a great tune. Plus, that’s always going to be what your Karaoke options are, so you best learn them now.
