Apparently there are some limits to how shameless America will be. The Michael Jackson autopsy documentary will not been aired.
The Discovery network let the public know on December 31st that their controversial documentary titled “Michael Jackson’s Autopsy: What Really Killed Michael Jackson” would not be shown this January as planned. In fact, it will never be aired at all.
What would the show have been like? Not the actual autopsy – are you crazy? Nah, just a complete reenactment of the autopsy. Despite the lengths of morbid curiosity the public sometimes goes to, fans would rather protect a little bit of human dignity than let the media go ape wild. Apparently the Discovery Network listened to the fans online petition of over 10,000 signatures against the airing of the documentary.
Discovery Networks International explained in a statement, “Given the commencement of legal proceedings beginning next week, and at the request of Michael Jackson’s estate, the scheduled broadcast of the medical documentary related to Michael Jackson’s official autopsy has been postponed indefinitely.”
