“Mercy” Star Michelle Trachtenberg: Style Maven

I’ve long been a fan of Michelle Trachtenberg, since way back when she was Harriet the Spy and Dawn “The Key” Summers (Buffy). More recently she’s been on our small screens as the scheming Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl, and the naive-but-sweet Chloe Payne on NBC’s Mercy. One thing Trachtenberg has done better than most other young actresses? Look stunningly styled at every.single.event. Seriously, those Go Fug Yourself chicks have nothing on her. One thing I really admire about her smart style is that she chooses to have purposefully pale skin. Her complexion is flawless, and she’s always been a sight for my sore “I’ve seen too many orange-skinned celebrities” eyes.

Later this week I’ll be talking with Tratchtenberg along with cast mate Taylor Schilling (I’m ready to give her an Emmy, right now) who both star on Mercy alongside Jaime Lee Kirchner. The show is a black comedy that follows the lives of three different nurses. I’m pretty addicted to it, I’ll admit it. I had only seen two of the episodes until this weekend, but now that I’m all caught up (thanks, Hulu.com!) I’m ready for more. Even though there are two other big nurse shows out right now (Nurse Jackie, HawthoRNe) this show is completely its own, and completely worth watching – especially if you need a new show for girls night. And girls night? Can be ANY night. So, ha.

For now, let’s just look at the pretty-pretty things Michelle Trachtenberg has been wearing:
